here's what I did (on debian stable) :
apt purge digikam-private-libs digikam-data digikam
apt autoremove
apt install $(cat /tmp/listpqg_digikam.txt)
list of packages in listpqg_digikam.txt :
cmake
ninja-build
extra-cmake-modules
build-essential
qttools5-dev-tools
libqt5core5a
libqt5gui5
libqt5widgets5
libqt5network5
libqt5sql5
libqt5sql5-mysql
libqt5sql5-sqlite
libqt5xml5
libqt5concurrent5
libqt5printsupport5
libqt5svg5
libqt5webengine5
libqt5networkauth5-dev
libkf5config-dev
libkf5xmlgui-dev
libkf5i18n-dev
libkf5windowsystem-dev

libpthread-stubs0-dev
libtiff-dev
libpng-dev
libjpeg-dev
libboost-all-dev
liblcms2-dev
libexpat1-dev
libexiv2-dev
deleted binaries and all config :
rm -fr $HOME/.cache $HOME/.local/share/digikam $HOME/.config/digikam_systemrc
$HOME/.config/digikamrc
rm -fr digikam-build && mkdir digikam-build && cd digikam-build
cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/div/local/bin/digikam -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=release
-DENABLE_MEDIAPLAYER="OFF" ../digikam-src
make -j$(nproc --ignore=1)
./bin/digikam
Now it's different, digikam stops without error message after the configuration
wizard
thanks
