Thanks again for your thoughtful and thorough response.
While I understand that the instructions I was working with come from a third party, in my defense,  they are linked from your support page.

I don’t know if the info is still relevant to non-Mac users, but it seems useless for me!

I’ll have a go with the multiple collections on the Settings page you kindly linked.
