Quantity album collections

Hi all

Today I have configured DK with two album collections  per year. So far 
I didn't notice performance issue, but I remember I heard people were 
preferaly using limited number of album collection.
So as new year is coming, I'm wondering either to continue in this way 
and create 2 new album collections for 2024 , or change my mind and 
merge all into fewer album collections

So I would like to hear you on advantages/draw backs of each solution
