DK 8.1 crashes when starting up on MacOS

Hi,

I have been using DK on MacOS for quite a while and it works fine.

Recently, DK started crashing whenever I start it up.

I am now in a state where I cannot start up DK at all because it keeps 
crashing after showing the splash screen.

I have not been able to locate an error log that would tell me whats 
happening.

Any advice?
