Digikam Flatpak

I'm curios if the Digikam on flathub is an official package. I noticed 
the flathub page (https://flathub.org/apps/org.kde.digikam) is flagged 
(blue badge) as from the KDE team proper but I've never found anything 
about the flatpak option on the digikam website so figured I'd ask if 
anyone knows the status of it.

Mostly curious if its just maintained/built from official members of KDE 
or digikam team. Not too concerned about its tested status, I just don't 
like to use packages from non-official sources/people.
