Can you share a screencast of this stage please. I want to be sure to
take a look at the right place.

Else, in the metadata settings, you don't need to use exiftool
especially for DNG, Exiv2 work perfectly with DNG. Exiftool must be
used for all non standard RAW files as NEF, CR3, ARW, etc...
