Custom grouping

Hi,

I use grouping to group JPG and raw images from the same shot, but for 
some of my files cannot be grouped by file name because I use a custom 
naming scheme, and not by time because the camera (Android app) stores 
different timestamps for both files.

If there any way to create a custom grouping scheme? I can imagine it 
could be useful for other use cases.

More generally, it here any way to script DigiKam?
