[digiKam-users] Any consideration when copying the digikamrc file between operating systems?

Hello,

The setting file digikamrc: is there anything to consider when copying the digikamrc file from one operating system to another? Maybe we should assume same digiKam release on both systems. Also assume the file is placed in correct folder for each OS. Assume installations are on different machines; different specs. 

Example: I currently have digiKam on Linux Mint, appimage. I want to use same settings and configurations when I install digiKam on macOS. File structures for photos (as well as OS itself) will for sure be different between the installations. 

So is there anything to consider when copying the digikamrc file from one operating system to another? Or recommendation not to copy it at all?
