[digiKam-users] Digikam 7.8.0 doesn't update thumbnails and folders

I assume they use the Ubuntu Snap package with digiKam. Snap packages have a 
sandbox and are therefore unusable for digiKam. You have no rights to access 
files outside of your home directory with digiKam.

Use our AppImage or look for a distribution that provides current native 
digiKam packages.
