Hi,

when starting digiKam-7.6.0-x86-64.appimage on a Ubuntu 22.04 system, I
get the following error:

digikam: symbol lookup error: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgio-2.0.so.0:
undefined symbol: g_module_open_full

I tried to build digiKam myself as a workaround:

sudo apt install libecm-dev extra-cmake-modules  qtbase5-dev
libqt5webkit5-dev libqt5webenginewidgets5 qtwebengine5-dev
libkf5xmlgui-dev  libkf5coreaddons-dev libkf5config-dev
libkf5service-dev libkf5solid-dev libboost-graph-dev libopencv-dev
libqt5x11extras5-dev libqt5xmlpatterns5-dev libavcodec-dev
libavdevice-dev libheif-dev libx265-dev libwayland-dev

cmake -GNinja ..   -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/tmp/digikam-install && ninja
&& DESTDIR=/tmpdigikam-install ninja install

But unfortunately, it does not do anything when started:

$ /tmp/digikam-install/usr/bin/digikam
Warning: Ignoring XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland on Gnome. Use
QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland to run on Wayland anyway.
$

Any hint to get 7.6 running on Ubuntu 22.04?

Thanks!

Olivier
