[digiKam-users] compatibility between releases

Actually I am running MariaDB on the Synology. I have everything stored
there. Then nightly I back up to another Synology in the same network.
I just make sure I am not on digikam when my wife is.

The problem I had with the Mac was that its "locale" was different than
Windows 10.  Interestingly enough, if I looked at the "locale" that the
Windows Linux Subsytem (Ubuntu) uses it had yet a 3rd "locale".

I will do the upgrade on the Windows 10 machine, install as well on
Windows 11, and have my wife upgrade her Mac and see if this all works
together.
