[digiKam-users] filtering pictures modified today

Hi

just wanted to look at the pictures I have modified today. Of course I 
have created a search, and selected "today", but it uses the absolute 
date, so I guess  it will require to be updated everyday, right?
is there another way to easily filter out the pictures modified today? 
if not I can create a change request
