Hi,
I found a couple more weird behaviors.
One of them is that, for some reason, Digikam is using the computer's
audio from the start, even if no video or sound is playing at all. In
KDE a speaker icon appears over Digikam's icon, and it's also shown in

Another one is that at some point, I tried to write a keyword to a
picture, and nothing happened. The progress bar stayed at 0% with the
message Applying metadata, but the file is not being written. Trying to
write the same tag again does not work and the same happens. Restarting
digikam does the trick. I already happened to me twice. But other times
I could write dozens of tags without an issue.
