[digiKam-users] Questions from a new user

Hello. I haven't used digikam in many years and a lot of things seem to
have changed. I have some interface and functionality questions that have
come up in my attempts to start using it again. Are there ways to
accomplish my goals below? I would like to ...

Edit an image in an external editor (e.g. GIMP) and have the result show up
as a new version of the image in Digikam.

Have versions not show up independently when browsing my albums, similar to
how grouped images are collapsed while default.

Have labels and some other metadata to be copied to an exposure blended
image after creating it.

Have exposure blended images to appear near the original images when
sorting by date (possibly creation or modified).

Create a post/album after exporting multiple images to Imgur.

Bulk re-label photos to a different hierarchical label "folder", so
anything labeled foo/a or foo/b becomes instead labeled bar/a or bar/b,
respectively.

Apply censoring or filtering to just part of an image being edited.

Thank you in advance for any of these goals you can help me make progress
