Hi, as a workaround to the missing mailing list search function, try this
query in your search engine: "site:url search term"

E.g. to search stuff about DNG files:

site:https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/digikam-users/ dng

Google seems to have better results than DDG and Brave for this type of
query. D
I didn't try bing. E.g.
https://www.google.com/search?q=site:https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/digikam-users/
dng
