Thanks Maik- I will install Debugview. And thanks for the Ctrl+F5 tip.

Fortunately turning off "Fast Scan" under "Scan for New Items at Startup"
seems to have helped- the missing folders are back!

Also ran the maintenance tool to clean up the databases and generate
thumbs. That has made opening an album speedier. Would it work to copy the
thumbs DB to other PCs if the file paths (to the DB file) are the same? May
try that.

Part of the problem may have been that I recently added pics stored locally
(i.e. not on SMB) as a separate collection. Other DK clients would then
look for the same collection in the same place and not find anything. I've
removed that collection for now.

I'll try a few more things to speed up browsing and will test automatic
change monitoring again.

(I had digest mode on and am not sure if this is the right way to reply-
apologies if it ends up out of place!)
