[digiKam-users] Preview layout

DK 7.9.0 appimage on debian 11

I have a wide hd monitor 2560x1080 and I'm having difficulties using the
standard preview layout:

- thumbnails on top
- preview window below the thumbnails

Is it possible to move the thumbnails to the left and the preview to
the right? 

Ideally, I'd like a mix of the 2: the thumbnail view on the left with
the information on the thumbnails and the preview on the right.
