[digiKam-users] Viewing photos undisturbed?

I’d like to view photos in digiKam without the navigation bar that’s
placed (often) over them, even in the full screen mode.  I couldn’t find
a way to get rid of it, is there any?

The OpenGL Image Viewer displays photos without the navigation bar but
apparently ignores color management, which makes it unusable.

Is there a way to see just the photo in the full screen mode, without
anything else around?
