[digiKam-users] How to undo a face tag?

In this bug from back in 2007, Jens mentions in 2015:

 > "The implementation could maintain an "undo" database table where a 
SQL string is stored for each operation that would undo exactly that
 > operation. (Or a more structural approach, storing the type of 
operation including previous values).

Has any work been done on this?

Is there any reason not to implement this?
