[digiKam-users] Is there an easy way to copy metadata to several images having entered it for one?

And if you already have a description/caption for one of the images, 
just select the destination images, *then* add the one with the text to the 
selection, and make a small modification (text will start grayed out, turn 
white after adding e.g. a space), then click apply. All images will now have 
the fields you modified filled out. Any field you didn't touch stays 
unchanged.

This also works for things like keywords and ratings.

Again, make sure that the image containing the text you want to copy is added 
to the selection *last* (if not, you won't see the text you expect)
