[digiKam-users] --> Digikam and iPhone Import

I'll try to kill this process, but I'd like to know how other software are able to access the phone regardless this process is running.
I instaled a software on Ubuntu Store called Rapid Photo Downloader and it can access my iPhone while digikam cannot.
I don´t know how it does, but is there a way I can change the way digikam looks for the camera ?

Here is the problem for Dolphin, but only when Dolphin is open and has
accessed the device:
