[digiKam-users] Search for dupes 100% but unresponsive

Digikam 7.1
Win10 64
8GB memory
AMD4-3400 processor
Databases are on C: which is a SSD
Images are on D:
525k image files totalling 2.4TB
Processor is running at 50% total load 74%
Memory at 200MB, total load 64%
I have run the fingerprinter which took about 3 days.
Then I ran the search for duplicates which took 4 days.
Digikam shows 100% done searching for dupes but is unresponsive.
It has been unresponsive for 2 days.

Is this normal? Or can I organise things differently to get better performance?
