Hi Tomer,
The digiKam for macOS version 7.2.0 release candidate is near of final
release. The step between 7.1.0 and 7.2.0 for Mac support is huge and
so far better.
I use myself a MacBook pro 2015 at home plus a few VM with macOS
bigSur for the continuous Deployment...

If you have already have tagged your collection, just make a database
backup before to update.
