[digiKam-users] Mapping Remote folders

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to mount the remote folder that can be used between Mac, Linux and windows.
My primary machine is a Mac and I have a laptop I would like to use around the house
On my Mac it would show as /Volume/photo and I named it Revolver.
On the windows machine I have mapped to my P: but images not available (which seems obvious to me)
How can I get the systems to use the smb name \\revolver.local\photo. That seems like a multi platform approach so the db knows where the photos
BTW I am using a MariaDB on the same NAS that I have each client point to.
