[digiKam-users] DK7.3: Some menu items in a different language?

Regarding the change of date format:
Just found an old screenshot from 2020.
In this screenshot, the date format is:
DD.MM.YYYY

This is way better than what is there now. As the current format is very
ambiguous.

I understand this should be somehow dependent on the locale. However, I am
on Windows 10, and my locale is English language and ISO date settings.
Windows shows dates as YYYY-MM-DD and 24h clock. Example from Windows here:
