The list of people tags seems to be sorted by how many new matches are in
each tag. This is indeed useful IF you are in the process of
approving/rejecting recognized faces. However, when you are not in that
mode, it is not very useful.
I fully agree that options for how to sort - and even to filter - the
People tag list are desperately needed.

One other thing: The People tags contain three special tags: Unconfirmed,
Unknown and Ignored. These should really be shown in a way that makes it
clear that they are different than the other tags.
