Thank you to the digikam team :-)
I don't know if this can help somebody, but to be able to run the 
appimage on fedora32, I have to do:
  LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib64/libxcb-dri3.so.0 ./digikam-7.0.0-x86-64.appimage
