[digiKam-users] DigiKam 7.0.0 shows annoying redraws when tagging people

Hi,

when I am tagging people's faces in the thumbnail view, the thumbnail, I
just assigned a tag to, vanishes and the thumbnail view reorders the
items behind/below it.  Quite often, the tag is then attached to the
next image (as well), because the mouse seems to hover over that item
being shifted to the position where the correct thumb just vanished.
The thumbnail view also needs some seconds(!) to be fully responsive
again.  Any ideas, what causes this and how it can be avoided?  This
makes tagging people almost unusable.
