[digiKam-users] digikam does not use config file pointed by --config

it always want to use ~/.config/digikam-db/digikamrc

if I delete the above file and do digikam --config
/media/digikam-db/digikamrc ( which is  a copy of previous config) it shows
me the setup dialog as if there's no DB or config

I need to have two digikam DBs with separate config files on the same
machine how can I do that

I tried digikam 5.6.0 6.1.0 and Beta 6.2.0
