Ok, everything is much worse.
I installed QtAV from git.
The QTAV_VERSION is still 1.12.0 so no recognition at compile time possible.
QtAV automatically turns the video upside down, instead of setting the widget 
to 90, it is set to 270. Can we patch the version.h in the bundles so that 
digiKam recognizes a newer version?
