[digiKam-users] Refresh not working

I have already validated the disk structure and it's OK. I have created
a new database and populated it and still the error happens. The actual
correct folder is shown in Digikam without error and on a restart it
correctly picks up any new images in it. I am unable to find any errors
which could cause this. The folder has existed for probably over a year
now and no other program has any issue with it, not darktable gwenview
gimp or anything else I've tried.

I do not expect to have to add or remove folders within digikam, it
should work with whatever is in the existing folder structure on disk.
