Hi,
Where do you keep your pictures, in your laptop's hard drive, or in some
network location? Usually keeping them in your computer should be faster,
but it should work in any case.
So when the "digikam not responding" message appears, what happens
afterward? Does it go away after a while? Does that message appears
immediately, or after a while of using digikam?
