Is it possible to selected which entity gets exported into the XMPs?

I'd like to have exported on the title, description, copyrights and
the tags. I want to remove everything else like ratings...

I need to send some photos with the xmps to somebody, so she
can import them in her Lightroom (I'm not sure which version). I will
do the filename change from filename.cr2.xmp to filename.cr2
