Dear digiKam developers,

I got the mail below because I once entered digikam as a program which
is able to work with IPTC metadata to a list on the IPTC website.

I guess it makes sense to give feedback here but I am not familiar with
all the details of metadata synchronization. Could someone of you
developers answer the questionary (32 questions)?

I'm assuming you caught Google’s decision last year to display IPTC
(International Press Telecommunications Council) photo fields in their
image search results? We thought this underlines the relevance of IPTC
photo metadata, and prompted by that change, the IPTC is working on a
survey to see how software developers are using the IPTC photo metadata
standards.

Could you review how your developers have implemented IPTC photo
metadata in your imaging software products; especially in regards to the
editing of metadata fields?

Then we hope you will help us by filling in the survey below by April,
30, 2019

It should take around 8 minutes, total. Those who fill out the survey
can receive the full results after the IPTC Photo Metadata Conference on
6 June when the results will be presented to the audience.

Thank you for your contribution!

David
