Again, you can not start or set up an internal MySQL server during migration. 
You use SQlite, so you start digiKam, go into the settings of digiKam under 
database and select internal MySQL server. In principle, you only have to 
specify a directory where the MySQL database should be created. After OK, you 
will be asked to add a collection, here simply enter an empty directory, so 
that it is faster and you want to migrate the SQlite DB. Now you can migrate 
your SQlite DB, then restart digiKam. A special feature is the AppImage, if 
the mysqld is not found, you have to select it manually (/sbin/mysqld 
eventually). Drag the window a bit larger, it's hidden. I hope you can do 
something with this guide. Or should I create a screencast?
