[digiKam-users] Space reserved for Thumbbar

Hello,
Latest digikam 6 beta appimage (I just downloaded it) on openSUSE TW with
KDE.
If I hide the thumbbar (Ctrl+T) the area under it (either image preview or
thumbnails view) does not resize so that entire screen space is being
wasted.

Is that only me who gets this? Previous versions did not have this
malfunction.
