[digiKam-users] Very slow getting to the search

DK 5.9 appimage

When I click on the search tab, to start a search, it takes forever
(between 1 and 2 minutes) to open the search screen.

It's because it's trying to execute the previous search.

Is there a setting for the search to execute until I enter my
criteria?
