[digiKam-users] Renaming a folder does not work

Interresting. Which Qt version do you use with your system. Look in digiKam
Help/Components Info for details.

By comparison, look the same version used in the AppImage. After all, QFile
or QDir API used in digiKam to process renaming come from Qt5, and bug
exists...
