[digiKam-users] Missing ImageMetadata record

I'm accessing the digikam4.db sqlite database directly, and finding some
records in the Images table that don't have a corresponding record in the
ImageMetadata table.

I've run the maintenance tool and re-synced the meta-data (both ways), but
some images still are missing records.

I can send the sqlite database and an example of an image that won't sync
if that will help.  The offending images were not imported from the SD
card, like most of my images, but rather were received in an email and
downloaded somewhere.  Perhaps a permissions issue?  Everything seems fine
in the DigiKam app itself.
