[digiKam-users] Segmentation Fault Digikam 5.9.0 (Ubuntu 18.04)

Any help resolving this will be greatly appreciated.

I'm running digikam-5.9.0-01-x86-64.appimage on Ubuntu 18.04. When digiKam
gets 95% done scanning my files it crashes. So I ran this version of digiKam
from the command shell and received the following message when it crashed:

/tmp/.mount_digikapqAQxj/AppRun: line 73: 26525 Segmentation fault     
digikam

I then tried using digikam-6.0.0-git-20180616T070709-x86-64.appimage with
the same result. Here is the message when it failed:

/tmp/.mount_digikarzrToU/AppRun: line 97: 30209 Segmentation fault
