Byt the way Gilles, are not you touched by dual (or more) monitor problems under KDE?

kubuntu 16.04 with two monitors setup is unusable, and from what I have understood it is qt linux implementation fault, not kde, that is kde developers explanation.

yes, here with Plasma desktop, i use both 27' WQHD monitor. One for thumbnails view, one for Image editor or Light Table. This is why explicitly, all main view are separated from thumbnails view.

I have an XFCE with 2x24" monitors.

Is there some way of utilizing both monitor at the same time, for
example the panels on 1 monitor and the thumbnails or the previews in
the other one?
