Hi again:

Trying to fix my problem, it seems that I need to pass one more 
parameter to the mysql_install_db command, with the location of 
"my_print_defaults". Something like: "--basedir=/usr"

How can I do this? (tell Digikam that "my_print_defaults" is located in 
/usr?
