Face tags problem

He probably did not check the box "write face tagging" into the files in Metadata settings Behavior tab. I think the only way to restore the data now is to find that database digikam4.db file.

Hello,

A colleague of mine approached me with the following question:

---
I run digikam quite a while, and I did some face tagging.

Unfortunately, with an upgrade I lost existing face tags (or more

precisely the face root). When I check the meta data of a picture it

says face tag a/b/c but I don't have it in the digicam face hierarchy.

Any idea how to debug? Any idea how to import face data from the meta

data of the pictures?
---

I don't use the face tagging functionality, so I have no idea how to solve this. Any ideas?

Best,
Dmitri
