segmentation fault

Hello,

I've restored some images, dng and jpg, from a faulty sd-card. The dng
were initially recognized by PhotoRec as pef but on first glance they
seem fine in other regards. Geeqie displays them just fine. But as soon
as I move the raw images into digikams album path, digikam crashes with
a segmentation fault while scanning for new contents. If I move the raw
out, it runs fine and detects the jpg without problems.

Anybody got an idea how I can try to narrow the issue down?

Digikam is digikam-5.8.0-01-x86-64.appimage on Sabayon linux.
