Hi,

Under Linux, template data are stored in XML file located in you home
directory :

[gilles at localhost digikam]$ pwd
~/.local/share/digikam

[gilles at localhost digikam]$ ls -al
total 36
drwxr-xr-x 4 gilles gilles 4096 août 6 10:19 ./
drwxrwxr-x 62 gilles gilles 4096 juil. 13 10:23 ../
drwxr-xr-x 3 gilles gilles 4096 sept. 13 2017 mediaserver/
-rw-r--r-- 1 gilles gilles 4183 août 6 10:20 mediaserver.xml
drwx------ 3 gilles gilles 4096 juil. 19 14:09 QtWebEngine/
-rw-rw-r-- 1 gilles gilles 4498 août 6 2017 queue.xml
-rw-rw-r-- 1 gilles gilles 935 août 6 10:20 template.xml

[gilles at localhost digikam]$

Just copy the template.xml file to the other computer, at the same place,
and enjoy...
