"Export Menu"

Hello fellow Digikam users.

Could I just ask..what is supposed to happen when i hover over or click
on the "Export" menu?
In previous versions of Digikam I was presented with a variety of export
destinations including "Facebook" (which never did work for me) However,
now, I am met with a wall of silence and inaction :)
Digikam 5.6.0
Build date: Jun 22 2017 (target: Debian)
Using on Kubuntu 17.04 fully updated

I believe I update Digkam from Philips repository so would expect I'm
up to date?
Any input welcomed...a definite fix would be delightful :)
