Star ratings get lost when copying albums from one collection to another?

I checked the rating check box under "Configure" -> "Metadata" ->
"Behavior" "Write this information to the Metadata"

For the first albums I moved the ratings are copied. I played around with
the checkbox as I did not really get what the actual idea is behind it.

Now ratings are lost again when moving albums no regard whether the ratings
checkbox is set or not.

I am lost. I will have another try s soon as I have new test data...
