I would try something like this:
sudo apt autoremove
sudo apt remove digikam5-data --purge
AND / OR
sudo rm /usr/share/metainfo/org.kde.digikam.appdata.xml
I think you simply forgot to remove the correct packages and one PPA.
Can you verify if there is some PPA listed on System Configurations >>
Software and Updates >> Others ?
