Howto move images from one collection to another?

Hi,
at times, I would like to move images from a SSD-based collection to a
large one on HD.

So far, I did this manually by dragging an album folder to the new
destination and klicking the context menu item "move here".

This is tedious an error-prone. Is there a better option for moving images?

I tried to setup a batch queue, but without success.
