DK 5.5 strange behavior with xmp sidefiles

Hallo,

since last update i see a strange behavior with the xmp files.
I use my collection on a PC an a notebook. I synchronize the
databases by "rsync-ing" the xmp files.

Now DK no longer writes the tags to the xmp files but does it
for example with the geo informations.
I use DK with the daily updated release on ArchLinux.

Any hints?
